Grains and Legumes.
Whole (unprocessed) grains provide a healthy amount
of B vitamins, vitamin E, and many minerals. These
fiber-rich foods keep our digestive tracts healthy.
They are high in B vitamins, which work to support
the brain, and rich sources of vitamin E, making
them good for the heart and skin. In addition, whole
grain fibers, such as brown rice, contain zinc,
for nourishment of the male reproductive system
and repair of the body.
Grains are the most commonly consumed
foods worldwide. They are the main human fuel and
a good source of complex carbohydrate - slower burning
and with more sustained energy than simple sugars.
All refined grains are sugar in disguise=
sugar & stimulants. |
